Somatic Breathwork, Sound Therapy & Reiki
Below you will find information about the various modalities used by Rachel as part of 1:1 & Group support.

Somatic Breathwork
Somatic Breathwork supports you to connect directly with your nervous system and your body’s natural ability to regulate, release, and restore.
When we experience stress, overwhelm, or trauma, our breath often becomes shallow, held, or disconnected. Over time this can create tension, emotional numbness, and a sense of being stuck in life.
By practicing breathwork in a way that supports you - from gentle to more active (Conscious Connected) breathing patterns - the body is given space to open, soften, move, and awaken. Through this process, deeply held patterns can begin to shift — ones which may once have served as protection, but no longer support the life you wish to live today.
The breath becomes a pathway not only to release what’s been held, but to reclaim your energy, presence, and sense of joy — beyond defenses and survival responses from the past.
Emotional expression, movement, vocalisation (sound), and nurturing touch are all invited as ways for energy and emotion to move through the body.
Every session is guided through a trauma-informed lens which honours your unique pace and body’s wisdom. Rather than pushing for emotional release, we work to create the conditions for your system to soften, integrate, and rediscover ease, energy, and flow in a way that is grounded and sustainable.
Sound Therapy
Therapeutic Sound is a powerful modality that can support deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and emotional release.
Using the power of vibration and tone, sound helps the body to soften, release tension, and integrate any shifts that arise during a session with Rachel.
Whether you experience Sound Therapy as part of a 1:1 session, or by joining one of Rachel's Reiki-Infused Sound Bath sessions in Berkshire, it is a fabulous way of helping you feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy healing practice that originated in Japan, and works by channeling universal life force energy to support the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance.
Reiki works with your body’s energy system to encourage relaxation, emotional clarity, and a sense of inner calm. In combination with breathwork, Reiki can help to integrate the emotional and energetic shifts that arise, leaving you feeling grounded, nurtured, and replenished.
Experience Reiki with Rachel in a 1:1 session or at a regular Reiki-Infused Sound Bath group session in Berkshire.

Benefits of a Somatic Therapeutic Approach
A somatic therapeutic approach is particularly beneficial if you’ve spent years talking through your experiences yet still sense something unresolved beneath the surface. It offers a pathway to access and release what words alone cannot reach, guiding you toward wholeness through embodied awareness.
By learning to attune to the language of sensation — the body’s own way of communicating through feeling, movement, and subtle shifts — you begin to relate to yourself beyond thought or narrative. Focusing on what’s present in the body, rather than stories of the mind, is how real change takes root over time - offering a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Combined with Conscious Connected Breathwork, the process deepens emotional clarity, amplifies release, and awakens a renewed sense of vitality and safety within your body.
