Conscious Connected Breathwork

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful modality that connects directly with your nervous system and your body’s natural ability to regulate, release, and restore.​

 

When we experience stress, overwhelm, or trauma, our breath often becomes shallow, held, or disconnected. Over time, this can create tension, emotional numbness, and a sense of being stuck in life.​

 

By practicing a connected breathing pattern the body is given the chance to open up, soften, move, awaken, and gradually shift deeply held patterns - many of which may have once served you as protection, but no longer support the life you want to live today.​

​

The breath becomes a pathway not only to release what’s been held, but to reclaim your energy, presence, and sense of joy - beyond defenses and survival responses from the past.​

 

Every session is guided through a trauma-informed lens — honouring your unique pace and body’s wisdom.  Rather than pushing for emotional release we work to create the conditions for your system to soften, integrate, and rediscover ease, energy, and flow in a way that is grounded and sustainable. 

What happens in a session?

Every session with Rachel has a somatic (body-based) focus, guiding you to move from the thinking mind into the wisdom of your body.

Through gentle somatic awareness practices, you’ll learn to notice where tension, holding, and emotional charge live within you — and how to create space for your nervous system to soften and release. Your breath is the primary tool in this process, supported by movement, vocalisation (sound), and nurturing touch to help energy and emotion move through the body.

​

The breathwork itself forms the heart of the session — a focused period of Conscious Connected Breathing that allows deeper layers of emotion, energy, and insight to surface and be met with compassion. Following this active phase, the session transitions into integration where the body is invited to rest, absorb, and settle into a state of calm and restoration.

​

Each session unfolds at your pace. You remain in the driver’s seat of your experience, with nothing ever forced or rushed. It’s a space where your body leads, your unique nervous system is honoured, and transformation arises gently, naturally, and in a way that feels safe for you.

​

Sound Therapy and Reiki may also be woven into the session to support deeper integration and relaxation, if this resonates with you.
