Sound Journey

Polyphonic Overtone Singing

In the second part of the method I use therapeutic sound to target the issue my client is looking to address.  I am trained in polyphonic overtone singing, a western form of sound therapy which is the singing of two tones at the same time and the primary sound I use, along with single vocal tones.  The repetition of these sounds has the ability to enable brain entrainment which allows clients to drift into alternative brainwave states that are similar to deep relaxation and meditation.

I have sung since I was a child and love using my voice because it is as close to the human experience as one can get and has the ability to return the body to its most harmonious, natural state.   It can also help clients connect more deeply to their own human qualities such as intuition, instinct, unconditional love, compassion and joy.

The sound treatment can also be infused with Reiki healing as this can enhance the overall experience.  This is agreed with clients as needed.
