Guided Somatic Meditation for Tension Release
This meditation is for you if you're carrying emotional or physical tension and long to feel lighter, freer, and at peace. I'll guide you through gentle somatic (body-based) techniques to connect with areas of tension in a supportive way, soften what feels held, and move towards greater ease. The body responds when we offer it attention — and this is your time to do just that. Over time, with practice, somatic connection can help you feel more empowered to hold yourself with greater self-compassion and resilience.

One of the biggest challenges my clients face is an inability to find peace. They feel overwhelmed by life and its challenges, and may rely on unhealthy coping mechanisms in an attempt to find relief. I know what this is like — I've been there myself, and created this meditation with that in mind.
I'll guide you through somatic (body-based) enquiry techniques, followed by gentle sound healing using Tibetan bowls, my voice, and percussion. The sounds are carefully curated to shift you into an altered state of consciousness, where deep healing and relaxation can take place.
This is your time to let go of what you're holding, and make space for the peace you deserve.

The language of sensation is a fundamental resource within Somatics.
Practicing tuning in to this has many benefits, such as helping us move away from the loud thinking mind that so often dominates our daily lives and moving towards deeper connection with our body and its messages.
As you explore, take your time to connect with sensations in your body, labelling them and reflecting on how it feels to just 'be' with whatever is present in each moment.
